NEMSU SENIOR FEMALE ACADEMICS

NEMSU demonstrates a strong commitment to gender equality and inclusive leadership across all levels of the institution. In 2024, the University reported a total of 291 filled plantilla positions in non-teaching roles, of which 155 are held by women, reflecting significant female representation in administrative and support services.

Within the academic workforce, 285 out of 506 faculty members are female, showing that women comprise more than half of the teaching and research staff. Moreover, among the 44 members of the Executive Committee (ExeCom), 21 are women, underscoring the university’s dedication to ensuring that women participate meaningfully in senior leadership and decision-making roles.
