2.4.1. Proportion of Graduates in Agriculture and Aquaculture
At North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), agriculture and aquaculture programs serve as pillars for advancing food security and sustainable livelihoods in Caraga and beyond. In 2024, a total of 300 out of 3,852 graduates completed degrees in agriculture and aquaculture across the university’s campuses, reflecting NEMSU’s strong commitment to nurturing professionals who will drive rural development and sustainable food systems.
Among the campuses, Tagbina Campus led with 130 graduates, followed by San Miguel Campus with 57, Lianga Campus with 67, and Bislig Campus with 46. These graduates are expected to contribute to agricultural innovation, aquaculture development, and community-based food initiatives in line with regional and national priorities.
Through these specialized programs, NEMSU not only equips its students with technical and scientific competencies but also strengthens its role as a transformative institution addressing hunger, poverty, and sustainability challenges.
