ABOUT US

The history of the University dates back to 1982 when Bukidnon State University (BSU), then Bukidnon State College (BSC), opened its extension in Tandag City known as the Bukidnon External Studies Center (BESC). There were 153 pioneering students when the BESC opened its courses in AY 1982-1983 with Jacinto P. Elpa High School serving as venue for the classes under the supervision of the late Rufina G. Luna who served as the first College Coordinator.

THE UNIVERSITY SEAL

The seal conveys an appropriate emblem that speaks the personality of the university whose concentration of instruction focuses on business and technical/vocational training of students. In further conveys sense of prominence being the one to personify the attributes of the school as the pioneering state University in the Province of Surigao del Sur.
